Our AI Driver Coaching solution empowers fleet managers to proactively manage safety events, track driver safety scores, leave notes, and streamline the entire coaching process.

Smarter AI Coaching Helps You Identify Risky Driving Patterns

It all starts when the driver exhibits risky behavior. The Smarter AI dashcam, using it’s bleeding edge AI and machine learning models, identifies the behavior and starts the first step of coaching for you; in cab coaching.

With in cab coaching, the camera notifies the driver of the risky behavior and asks them to rectify it. In cab coaching allows drivers to self coach and improve their driving habits, without any intervention from the fleet manager, saving countless hours.

Along with providing incab coaching, the Smarter AI camera also generates a safety event for fleet managers to view on their dashboard.

From the event page, you can take a glance at all important parameters surrounding the event, with all camera angles included. Smarter AI organizes all the information in a helpful and easy to understand UI.

Once you’ve reviewed the event and decided that it needs to be coached further by having a 1:1 session with the driver, you can hover over the video and click the “Mark as Coachable Event” button at the bottom right.

Smarter AI also allows you to mark as many coachable events as you’d like for a single driver.

Once you’ve marked single or multiple events as coachable, head on to the coaching workflow by clicking “Safety” on the main list on the left, and then coaching.

Clicking coachable events will present you a list of all coachable events that you’ve added for that camera. From this list, you can choose to remove events if you’d like to. Once you have a final list of events you’d like to coach, you can click on the “Initiate Session” button on the bottom right.

When you click the “Initiate Session” button, Smarter AI will will create a new coaching session for the camera and take you back to the coaching screen. From here, click on the 3 dots on the top right of the thumbnail and click guided coaching. You will now be presentation with the 1:1 coaching workflow, with events shown with the event player and all corresponding information that you can cycle through.

After you’ve reviewed all events with the driver and talked them through on best practices on correcting their driving habits, you can click on finish session which will complete the coaching session for the driver. You can then click on the coaching tab in the on the left tab and then click “Coaching History”, this will show you a list of all coaching sessions that were completed in your fleet along with the name of the coach and the previous and current score of the vehicle/driver.
