We are seeking an experienced Audio and DSP Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing audio and DSP algorithms for Smarter AI cameras.

Responsibilities

• Development: Design and develop:

  • Audio and DSP algorithms for real-time performance

  • Synchronization algorithms for multiple data sources and sampling rates

  • Machine listening algorithms

  Write design and developer documentation

  Root cause and resolve audio and DSP issues

  Integration: Collaborate with camera software team to integrate audio and DSP functions into camera software

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years developing audio and DSP software for camera, telephony, or other real-time audio products, including:

Developing audio, speech, and signal processing algorithms to fixed-point DSPs in assembly and C/C++

Porting audio speech, and signal processing algorithms to fixed point DSPs

Optimizing MIPS and memory resource consumption

Algorithm, feature, and product testing before release to production

• Qualifications: Thorough computer science knowledge, including:

  • Audio and signal processing algorithms and programming in C/C++

  • Concurrent and parallel systems and programming in C/C++

Root cause analysis and resolution

Design documentation, including constraints such as cost or time

Communication and teamwork

Machine learning and machine listening are plusses
